The customer journey through your frontoffice booking form can be tracked using Facebook Pixel, from viewing individual products through to eventual purchase. The following events are triggered:

1. View Content - whenever a product page is viewed the ViewContent event is triggered, sending with it:

  • product id
  • product title
  • product type

2. Add to Cart - once a product has been added to cart the AddToCart event is triggered, sending with it:

  • total price
  • currency
  • product id
  • product title
  • product type

3. Initiate Checkout - once all customer details have been entered and the 'Checkout' button has been pressed, the InitiateCheckout event is triggered, sending with it:

  • total price
  • currency
  • product id
  • product title
  • product type

4. Purchase - once payment has been received for an order the Purchase event will be triggered, sending with it total price of the order and currency. Note that this event is not triggered in the case of bank transfers.
